Jacey Payne, MA, CE | Social Research and Demonstration Corporation (SRDC)

SRDC is a charitable, not-for-profit research and evaluation firm with a dual mission: to identify policies and programs that improve the well-being of all Canadians – with a special concern for the effects on those who are disadvantaged – and to raise the standards of evidence used in research and evaluation of these programs. In operation since 1991, SRDC has built a base of knowledge and experience across multiple policy areas, including health and wellbeing; K-12 and post-secondary education; skills development and training; employment and labour market; community capacity; youth development and inclusion; social finance; and housing and homelessness. We design, implement, and manage projects of many sizes and types – including feasibility studies, formative/process evaluations, summative/outcomes evaluations, economic evaluations (including return on investment), impact assessments, policy analyses, strategic program reviews, and performance measurement. Our evidence-based results help support decision-makers and other clients – including federal and provincial departments, municipalities, and other public and non-profit organizations – to improve their policies, programs, and practices.

CES is a volunteer-run non-profit association dedicated to the advancement of evaluation theory and practice.
In the spirit of reconciliation, our chapter feels it is important to acknowledge the traditional lands on which we live, work and play. We are located on territories subject to Treaties 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11.  Included are the Métis Settlements, the Métis Nation of Alberta’s six Regions, and Northwest Territory Métis Nation’s South Slave region.
